About the Legacy Club
The Mansfield University Football Legacy Club was
established in the spring of 2004 by former head coaches Tom Elsasser, Joe Bottiglieri, Bernie Sabol, and
Rod Kelchner, along with current head coach Jim Shiffer, to enhance
football scholarships at Mansfield University.
The Football Legacy Club is designed as a venue
for former players, staff and supporters to continue to make a difference in the
success of Mountaineer football.
Membership Eligibility
Requirements
Eligibility for membership requires a minimum
contribution of $100 to the Mansfield University football scholarship fund.
Legacy Club Member Benefits
Mansfield
University Football Legacy Club members receive a number of special
benefits including:
·Tickets to the Frank A. Butsko
Awards Breakfast prior to the Spring Red & Black Game.
·Tickets and invitation to pre-game tailgate at the Football
Legacy Club game vs. Shippensburg University on Sept. 9, 2006
·Invitations to Football Legacy Club events.
·Exclusive information on and about the 2006 Mountaineer
football team.
·A
20% discount on Mansfield University logo clothing and merchandise at the
bookstore.
*Your contributions will be used solely for
football scholarships and are tax deductible.
To Become a Member:
Here’s how to become a member today! Print and
fill out the online form and send a check for
$100 or more made out to MUF-Football Legacy Club. Also,
you may pay by Master Card or Visa, and you may make your gift online or by mail
through the university website: simply go to
the ways to give site.
Be sure to specify that your gift is for the Football Legacy Club.
All gifts received by June 30 will be included in
the current fiscal year and your name will appear in our annual report to
donors.
Legacy Club Update:
As of October 13, the 2006 Legacy Club has 153 members
and has received a total of $30,010 an average gift of $196.14 per member. Check back
often for updates to the member list, and the 2006 gift total.
