FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MU Football Legacy Club Hits $20,000

The 2006 Mansfield University Football Legacy Club reached $20,000 in donations on August 7th. The club, created in 2004, raises money each year for football scholarships. As of August 7th, 103 members had contributed to the fund, an average donation of $194.17 per member.

The club is comprised of Mansfield University faculty, alumni, and friends. Along with their donations, Legacy Club members receive certain benefits throughout the year. Last season, members were treated to tailgate parties at home games and at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina, tickets to the annual Frank A. Butsko Award Breakfast and Red and Black spring game, and many more events.
