FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mountie men
and women host East Stroudsburg in key PSAC East games Wednesday night
 MANSFIELD
– The Mansfield University men’s and women’s basketball teams will host East
Stroudsburg in a pair of key PSAC East games Wednesday night in Decker
Gymnasium.
The women’s game starts at 5:30 p.m.
with the men following at 7:30 p.m.
The Mountaineer women have shown steady
improvement in conference play, including a two-point loss at second place
Kutztown last Wednesday. They trailed Division leader West Chester by just four
points at halftime on Saturday.
Mansfield is currently 0-4 in PSAC East
play, but all four losses have come to the top four teams in the division.
The Mountaineer men are just one game
behind four teams tied for first place in the PSAC East. Mansfield is 2-2 in the
PSAC after handing West Chester its first conference loss of the season last
Saturday.
Admission, which includes both games, is
$5 for adults and $3 for students. MU students are admitted free with their
Mansfield ID’s. The first 200 MU students will also receive free collector
banners at the game.
