WELM-AM TO BROADCAST EIGHT JOEL STEPHENS INVITATIONAL GAMES
MANSFIELD – WELM-AM 1410 in Elmira will broadcast eight games from the 10th annual Joel Stephens Invitational Tournament, presented by Citizens & Northern Bank and Mansfield University, this weekend. The games will also be available over the internet at 1410welm.com
WELM has provided radio coverage of the tournament every year since its inception. Sports Director Bob Michaels will once again do play-by-play for the games.
“Bob has been with us from the start and has been one of our biggest supporters,” Ron Stephens, Joel’s father, said. “We are thrilled that he and WELM will once again broadcast our tournament.”

Friday, July 4 11:30 a.m. Greece vs. Horseheads
3 p.m. Cherry Hill, NJ vs. Bath
6 p.m. Lansing vs. Horseheads
Saturday, July 5 11:30 a.m. Corning Gray vs. Elmira Heights
6 p.m. Corning Gray vs. Bradford
Sunday, July 6 noon Joel Stephens Semifinal (Shaute Field game)
3 p.m. Joel Stephens Championship
