FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: WELM TO BROADCAST 10 JOEL STEPHENS INVITATIONAL GAMES
MANSFIELD – WELM-AM 1410 in Elmira will broadcast 10 games from the ninth annual Joel Stephens Invitational Tournament, presented by Citizens & Northern Bank and Mansfield University, this weekend. All 10 games will also be available over the internet at www.1410welm.com.
WELM has provided radio coverage of the tournament every year since its inception. Sports Director Bob Michaels will once again do play-by-play for the games.
The games scheduled to be aired are:
Friday 6 p.m. Horseheads vs. Northern Tioga
Saturday 9 a.m. Corning Red vs. Elmira Heights
11:30 a.m. Fabius vs. Jersey Shore
3 p.m. Big Flats vs. Bath
6 p.m. Lansing vs. Horseheads
Sunday 11:30 a.m. Bath vs. Vestal
2:30 p.m. Lansing vs. Greece
6 p.m. Bradford vs. Corning Gray
Monday noon Joel Stephens Semifinal
3 p.m. Joel Stephens Championship
All WELM broadcasts will originate from Shaute Field on the MU campus. Updates from other game sites will also be provided.
