(NY)- Freshman Chris Cummings
(Mansfield/Mansfield) finished second overall in the 8k race at the
Rochester Invitational Saturday afternoon behind Lock Haven’s Chris Cowan with
a time of 25:20.
Josh Wooten
(Henrietta,
NY/Rush-Henrietta)
finished second for the Mountaineers and 9th overall with a time of
26:07. Finishing next for
Mansfield
was Richard
Correll (Mansfield/Mansfield) with a time of 27:15.
Benjamin Israel
(Mansfield/Mansfield) finished with a time of 28:47, 64th
overall. Next to cross the finish
line for the Mountaineers was Alex
Bond (Kane/Kane), 29:46, followed by Adam Keir (Warren Center/NE
Bradford
) with a time of 31:07. Joe Trapani (

rounded out the scorers
for the Mountaineers finishing with a time of 31:41. Mansfield
finished 5th
overall in the men’s competition.
