FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MANSFIELD MEN IN 7^TH PLACE AND WOMEN IN 9^TH PLACE AFTER FIRST DAY OF PSAC INDOOR TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP

EAST STROUDSBURG – Josh Wooten finished third in the 5000 meters to put the Mansfield University men in seventh place at the end of the first day of competition at the PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championship Saturday.

Wooten accounted for six of Mansfield seven team points with his time of 15:18.95 in the 5,000. Chad Saterstad finished in 10^th place in the same event with a time of 15:49.94. The Mountaineers picked up their other point in with a sixth place finish in the distance relay with a time of 10:45.87.

The women got all eight team points with a second place finish in the distance relay with a time of 12:24.96.

Charity Learn, the top seed in the 5,000 meters, failed to finish the race.

The PSAC Championship will conclude tomorrow.
