FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: JOSH WOOTEN SECOND IN STEEPLECHASE AT PSAC CHAMPIONSHIP -- RACHEL HALL THIRD IN WOMEN'S STEEPLECHASE -- CHRIS CUMMINGS FOURTH IN 1,500

SLIPPERY ROCK, PA -- Josh Wooten finished second in the men's steeplechase and Rachel Hall was third in the women's steeplechase at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship Saturday at Slippery Rock University.

Wooten was edged out at the tape finishing with a time of 9:13.85 to Jim Ausberry of Edinboro who won the race with a 9:13.85 finish.

Also scoring for Mansfield was Rachel Hall with a third place finish in women's steeplechase (11:26.78) and Chris Cummings who finished four in the 1,500 meters (3:58.56). 

Mansfield finished 12^th in team scoring in both the men’s and women’s competition. The men scored 12 points while the women scored six.
