FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MOUNTIE WOMEN’S
CROSS COUNTRY TEAM TAKES SECOND IN THE
MANSFIELD
TRI-MEET
MANSFIELD- Mansfield’s women’s team took second and the men finished
third in the Mansfield
Tri-meet held Saturday at in Mansfield. Bloomsburg won the women’s side,
and Lock Haven finished third. On
the men’s side Lock Haven took first followed by Bloomsburg, and then
Mansfield.
Charity Learn (Troy/Homeschooled) finished first with a time of 18:44. Learn was followed closely by
freshman Rachael Hall (Philadelphia/Philadelphia High School for Girls) (

). Learn and Hall finished over a
half-of-a-minute ahead of the third place finisher. Freshman Kristin Weller (
New
Milford
,
CT
)
also placed in the top ten, finishing seventh (

).
On
the men’s side freshman Chris Cummings
(Mansfield/Mansfield) took second (

). Josh
Wooten (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) finished in the top ten with a
fifth place finish (

).
The Mounties cross country teams will compete again on the first of November at
the PSAC championships at Bloomsburg
University.
