FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CHRIS CUMMINGS ADVANCES TO NCAA Division II CHAMPIONSHIPS-CHARITY LEARN NARROWLY MISSES.

Mansfield University Sophmore Chris Cummings will be competing in the 5000m run at the NCAA Chammpionships at Abilene Christian in Abilene, Texas. Cummings qualified for the event when he ran a 14:26.90 at Penn Relays earlier this season. His time ranks him 16th among all Division II schools in the nation. 

Teammate Charity Learn narrowly missed the cutoff for qualifying in the 3000m steeplechase. Her time of 11:10.26 made her fall one spot short of making the race. 

The championships take place from 5/26/05-5/28/05.
