FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MANSFIELD UNIVERSITY TAKES PART IN 23^rd ANNUAL GENESEO CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL

GENESEO, Ny-  Freshman Chris Cummings finished second overall with a time of 26:07 in the Geneseo Cross Country Invitational Saturday morning at Letchworth State Park in Mt. Morris.

Josh Wooten finished second for the Mounties and 8^th overall (26:42). Also finishing for Mansfield was Richard Correll with a 46^th place finish (28:15). Mark Daniels (28:58) and Adam Staier (30:15) rounded out the top five finishers for the Mounties. Overall the men finished in 6^th place in team competition.

Charity Learn was the first to cross the finish line for the Mounties with a 3^rd place finish overall with a time of 23:35:61. Rachel Hall was next to finish for Mansfield with a time of 24:02 and 13^th overall finish. Kristin Weller (25:01) and Theresa Stanford (25:21) were next to finish. Jenna Phillips (25:39) and Ashley Tierney (26:19) rounded out the Mountaineers top five finishers.

Overall the women finished 3^rd in team competition.
