FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: STEPH CADWELL SETS NEW SCHOOL 500 METER MARK AT CORNELL OPEN

ITHACA, NY – Stephanie Cadwell broke the school record in the 500 meter run at the Cornell Open Saturday afternoon in Ithaca, NY.

Cadwell finished third overall in the race with a time of 1:19.75 to shatter the school record of 1:22.02 set in 2003.

Also performing well for the Mountaineers were Charity Learn and Rachel Hall who finished fourth and fifth in the mile run with times of 5:26.75 and 5:27.79 respectively.

For the men, Josh Wooton and Chris Cummings finished second and third in the mile run with times of 4:28.62 and 4:28.73.
