FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CHRIS CUMMINGS NAMED PSAC MALE CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK – FRESHMAN TAKES TOP PSAC HONOR IS FIRST COLLEGIATE MEET

MANSFIELD – Mansfield University freshman Chris Cummings (Mansfield/Mansfield) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Male Cross-Country Runner of the Week for his outstanding performance at the Penn State Spiked Shoe Invitational Saturday afternoon.

Cummings, competing in his first collegiate meet, was the top freshman and NCAA Division II finisher crossing the line 13^th in a field of 184 runners.
