FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Spring Fling 5k a success

The Spring Fling 5k run and 2k walk was hosted by the Student Dietetics Association and Kelchner Fitness Center.  The race took place on the bike path behind CVS and the course was a mile and a half out to the turn around point and back.  Both current and former students, Mansfield University staff and community members and their families participated in the event.  Each participant received a t-shirt and gift bag and prizes went to the overall male and female winner in addition to the top three participants in each age group.  This year was the first year of the race and plans are already in the making for next year's race.
