FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Edwards, Barber and Gray have strong finishes at
California
 Mike
Gray
led the men with a first place in the shot put and two fourth place finishes in
the discus and hammer throws while Brenae Edwards had a second place
finish in the 3000 meter run Saturday at California University of Pennsylvania.
Craig Barber
scored a first place victory of his own in the pole vault as Mansfield’s
distance runners, Kevin Cusworth, John McDonnell and Brady
Finogle took third, fourth and fifth place in the 5000 meter run. Justen
Johnson took fourth in the triple jump to finish off Mansfield’s scorers for
the men.
Jenelle Toter
took fifth place in the 100 meter dash and sixth in the 200 meter dash. Abbie
Waltz and Megan Savioli finished in fifth and eighth place in the 400
meter hurdles while Alicia Edkin finishes eighth in the discus.
The track teams head to Bucknell University April, 10 for the Bucknell Distance
Classic.
