FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mansfield’s Chris Cummings named PSAC Male Cross Country Runner of the Week

MANSFIELD – Mansfield University cross country standout Chris Cummings (Mansfield/Mansfield) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Runner of the Week for his winning performance at the Don Cathcart Invitational in Salisbury, MD last Saturday.

Cummings bested the 131-runner field with a time of 24:51 over the 8k course to finished 17 seconds in front of runner-up Iuri Pinto of East Stroudsburg in leading the Mountaineers to a second place overall team finish.

It marks the second time in three races this season the senior has finished first.
