FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mounties Nicole Dann Named PSAC Female Runner of the Week

MANSFIELD – Senior Nicole Dann (Lucan,ONT/Medway) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Female Runner of the Week for her outstanding performance at the Collegiate Track Conference Championship at Yale University.

The announcement was made this afternoon by the PSAC office.

Dann played a significant role in Mansfield’s second-place team finish at the Collegiate Track Conference Championships hosted by Yale University.  The versatile threat captured first-place finishes in the 800m (2:21.58), the 1,000m (3:03.70) and the mile (5:17.77), and was part of the 4x400m relay team that finished third.  Earlier this season Dann qualified for the PSAC Championships in the mile and 800m, where she holds the conference’s second and third fastest times, respectively.  

Dann is the second Mountaineer women to earn the honor. Senior Rachel Hall was named PSAC Runner of the Week earlier this season.
