FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mountie Women Finish 17^th at Penn State Golden Spike Invitational – Men 24^th

STATE COLLEGE – Rachel Hall finished 50^th overall to lead the Mansfield University women cross-country team to a 17^th overall finish at the Spiked Shoe Invitational Saturday afternoon at Penn State.

Hall ran a time of 23:17.40 while freshman teammate Jessica Wagner finished 89^th overall with time of 24:10.90. Tricia Learn was Mansfield’s third finisher in 101th place with a time of 24:39.00 while Heather Wida finished was 114 at 25:01.35. Freshman Christynia Cain was the fifth MU runner finishing 126^th overall with a time of 25:20.80.

The Mountaineer men finished 24^th overall led by freshman Dave Sanford was was 99^th overall with a time of 28:31.80. Fellow freshman Blake Smith was 145^th overall at 30:16.25 with Matt Zimmerman 154^th at 30:42.50 and freshman Jon-Mark Stoltz at 157^th (30:53.30). Freshman Jared Dexler was in 158 (30:59.10) with Jon Holtz 165^th at (33:12.40).
