FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Rachel Hall Finishes 15^th at ECAC Cross Country Championship – Mountie Women 9^th Overall

Bronx, NY – Rachel Hall ended her collegiate cross country career by becoming the first runner in school history to earn All-ECAC honors by finishing 15^th overall at the ECAC Cross Country Championship in Van Cortland Park Saturday.

“Rachel just ran a great race again,” said head coach Mike Rohl. “She made up 25 places over the last half of the race including seven places over the last 600 meters alone. It may have been a best performance as a team all season.”

Hall time of 19:12 gave her a clean sweep of top 15 finished in the PSAC, NCAA East Regional and ECAC Championships. There were 166 runners in the women’s race. Mansfield, running against almost entirely Division I competition finished 9^th overall. Colgate won the team event with Bucknell finishing second.

Senior Nicole Dann was the Mountaineers second best finisher finishing 40^th overall with a time of 19:52. Freshman Jessica Wagner was 49^th (20:03) while Heather Wida 93^rd (21:04) and Christyna Cain 121^st (21:37).
