FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MOUNTIE WOMEN IN FOURTH PLACE IN PSAC INDOOR TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP – 4X800 RELAY TEAM SETS NEW SCHOOL RECORD

EAST STROUDSBURG – The 4 x 800 relay set a new school record to lead the Mansfield University women’s track team to a fourth place finish at the end of the first day of the PSAC Indoor Championship at East Stroudsburg Saturday 

The team of Nicole Dann, Rachel Hall, Charity Learn and Steph Cadwell finished second in the 4 x 800 relay with a school record of 9:40.03 with the distance medley relay team of Hall, Marisa Lucero, Cadwell and Learn also finished second with a time of 12:38.03.

Advancing through the preliminaries into the finals tomorrow were Amanda Fedish in the 200 meters (51.09) and Marisa Lucero in the 55 meters (7.49).

The men’s 4 x 800 relay team of picked up a team point with a sixth place finish. Keith Drummond also advanced to the finals in the 400 meters with a season best 51.09.
