Learn earned NCAA Division II Cross Country Coaches Association
All-Academic
honors. To be named to this
prestigious honor, the student-athlete must have a minimum 3.25 cumulative
grade point average, must have placed in the top 30% of the total number
of athletes in the Regional
Championships, and must have completed 24 credit hours.
Chris Cummings
is a sophomore physics major with a 3.489 grade
point average. He finished 22nd
out of 210 runners at the Regional Championships.
Charity Learn
is a junior environmental biology major with a 3.98
grade point
average. She finished 3rd
out of 220 runners at the Regional Championships.
The
men’s and women’s teams were both named to the NCAA Division II Cross
Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team honors.
To be named to the team honors, the team must have a cumulative
grade point average of at least a 3.0, and each team must have a minimum
of five athletes. The
men’s team has a team cumulative grade point average of 3.119. The
women’s team has a team cumulative grade point average of 3.527.
