SLIPPERY ROCK – Rachel Hall and Charity Learn each earned All-PSAC honors to lead the Mansfield University women to a school record fifth place finish at the PSAC Cross Championship at Slippery Rock University Saturday morning. The Mountaineer men were 11th behind Chris Cummings 14th place finish.

“It says a lot about how far this program has come when we finish five place better than last year and still know we can do better,” said head coach Mike Rohl. “Our spread between runners was 1:27 and we had hoped to come in less than that.”

Hall becomes a All-PSAC performer for the second time finishing eighth overall with a time of 22:57 over the 6K course. Charity Learn become Mansfield’s first ever four time All-PSAC runner, finishing 12th overall just two seconds behind Hall. Her younger sister Tricia Learn was the Mountaineers third finisher and 32nd overall at 23:48.
