FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: WOMEN'S SOCCER HOST CLINIC FOR AREA YOUTH SOCCER PLAYERS -- MORE THAN 150 BRAVE WARM WEATHER TO START YOUTH SOCCER SEASON

MANSFIELD -- There were more soccer balls flying around Bixby Field in Smythe Park on Sunday afternoon that Carter has pills as the Mansfield University women's soccer team hosted a free yourth clinic.

The women's team took time out of their busy preseason camp to put on the free clinic which has become the traditional start of the MARA youth soccer season.

"This is a great time for the kids and our players," said head coach Tim Dempsey. "Our players have really come to enjoy this clinic and get a lot of satisfaction in working one-on-one with the kids."

More than 100 potential Pele` and Mia Hamm's ran, kicked, dribbled and had fun under a bright blue sky while Coach Dempsey also put on a coaching for volunteer coaches.

MARA will open its season on Sunday Sept. 11.
