FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MOUNTIE SOCCER COMPLETES 2003 SEASON

West Chester – The Mansfield University Women’s Soccer team concluded its second season of NCAA Division II competition with a 6-0 loss to playoff bound West Chester University.

Mansfield could not get their offense started as West Chester jumped out to a 3-0 lead heading into halftime.

The second half was a mirror image of the first as West Chester tacked on three more goals including two of Allison Luberski’s three goals.

Mansfield’s goalkeepers Nicole Rodweller (Easton/Easton) recorded six saves and Julie Miller (Watkins Glen, NY/Watkins Glen) had four stops.

Mansfield finishes its second season of competition with record of 4-11-2, 2-10.
