1-1 IN DOUBLE OVERTIME.
MANSFIELD
– At Daemen College Mansfield Women’s Soccer ties the Wildcats, after
playing double overtime. Mansfield
sophomore Nicole Nycz (
Toms
River
,
NJ/
Toms

South) scored the first goal of the game seven minutes into the first
period. Daemen responded in the
second period with their own goal. Sophomore
goalie Julie Miller (Watkins Glen, NY/Watkins Glen) had 11 saves on the
day. At the end of the game with the
score tied 1-1 the game went into overtime. Julie Miller saved the game
for Mansfield. When with a minute left in double overtime she had an
incredible save to prevent Daemen from winning the game.
Mansfield’s next game is October 11th, homecoming weekend, when they host
Clarion University
at Myers Field at
3pm
