RELEASE DATE: 11/1/08 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mansfield’s Natalie Adams named to All-PSAC East 1st Team honors – Lyndi Keiser named to 2nd Team honors fourth straight year MANSFIELD – History was made today when freshman Natalie Adams (Wilkes-Barre/Holy Redmeer) became the first women’s soccer player in school history to earn 1st Team All-PSAC East honors and senior Lyndi Keiser (Mechanicsburg/Mechanicsburg) become the first player in the program's history to earn All-PSAC honors in each of her four years of competition. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference All-Conference women’s soccer teams were released today by the conference office and selected by voting of the head coaches in each division. "It's a great, and well deserved accomplishment for both of them," said head coach Tim Dempsey. "I'm proud of them."
Keiser was second on the team in both points (12) and goals (5) this season while tying Adams with a team-best two assists. Keiser holds every school career scoring records including points (62), goals (27) and assists (8).
