RELEASE DATE: 10/7/06 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Soccer battles to 0-0 tie at Kutztown – Segear stops five shots in goal KUTZTOWN – Kim Pachuta’s bicycle kick in the second overtime was just deflect as Mansfield and Kutztown battled to a 0-0 tie in double overtime Saturday afternoon at Kutztown. The defensive struggle was statistically as close as could be with both team recording six shots during the game and both having nine corners. Justine Segear, who recorded her fourth shutout of the season, had five saves in goal as did Kutztown’s Nicole Rodweller. Mansfield, which is 4-3-2 over the last nine games, moves to 4-9-2 overall and 2-6-2 in the PSAC East. Kutztown is 7-5-3 and 5-2-2 in conference play.
