FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: WOMEN’S SOCCER REPORTS TO PRESEASON CAMP – DEMPSEY’S FOURTH EDITION GETS RIGHT TO BUSINESS

MANSFIELD – The Mountaineer women’s soccer team reported to preseason camp Sunday evening and got right down to business with an intrasquad scrimmage on Monday.

“I wanted to see what people could do,” explained head coach Tim Dempsey as he put his 23 players through practice paces on Tuesday.

Dempsey returns 12 veterans with 11 newcomers joining the roster this season.

“I can already tell we are a deeper team than last season with a couple of newcomers who will make immediate contributions,” Dempsey reports.

The team will go through three-a-day session through Saturday before hosting a clinic from 1-3 on Sunday.
