FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MOUNTAINEER WOMEN’S SOCCER OPENER MOVED FROM SATURDAY TO SUNDAY – SEASON OPENER AGANST GEORGIAN COURT TO START AT 1:30 PM

MANSFIELD – The Mansfield University women’s soccer team season opener schedule against Georgian Court this Saturday (Aug. 27) will now be played on Sunday (Aug. 28) instead. Game time is set for 1:30 pm at the Soccer Field at the top of the Mansfield University campus.

“Georgian Court called and said there was a problem with playing the game on Saturday and asked if we could move it to Sunday,” said head coach Tim Dempsey. “The move really doesn’t affect us for our next game, so we agreed.”

Admission to the game is free.
