FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: WOMEN’S SOCCER DROPS 3-0 DECISION TO KUTZTOWN

MANSFIELD – Kutztown scored all three goals in the second half to down Mansfield 3-0 in PSAC East women’s soccer Saturday afternoon 

Both teams battled defensively settling for a 0-0 tie at halftime before Kutztown scored on an unassisted goal by Jeannine Bria in the 49^th minute.

The Golden Bears would add two more unassisted goals with Julie Folsom scoring two minutes later and Kristen Kentner with six minutes left in the game.

Kutztown held a 19-6 shot advantage and 5-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Julie Miller played well in goal with 13 saves.

Mansfield falls to 2-11-1 overall and 0-9-1 in the PSAC East. Kutztown improves to 10-3-2 and 5-2-1 in the conference.
