FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Women's Soccer Raises Over $2100 With Annual Tennis Ball Race

Tim Dempsey, Head Coach of the Women's Soccer program, held his annual "Campus Place Tennis Ball Race" recently, to raise money for the soccer program and local charities.

The first three tennis balls down the hill are the winners, with the proud owners of those balls receiving cash prizes.

This year, the race brought in a record amount of $2190 as 535 tennis balls were purchased.

The Women's Soccer program will get $1190 while local charities will split $600. The remaining $400 goes to the three winners.

This years winners were:

3 ^rd place            $50       Sue Laib from Mansfield , PA
