DRURY IN FINAL OF DISNEY CLASSIC – TAGLIAFERRI NAMED ALL-TOURNAMENT
ORLANDO
– The Mansfield
University
women’s basketball team wrapped up the Walt Disney Division II Tip-Off
Tournament with a 76-28 loss to Tournament
Champion Drury University
late Sunday evening.
The Mountaineers turned the ball of 40 times and shot just 26.5% from the field
in falling to nationally ranked Drury.
Alison Tagliaferri (Linden/Jersey Shore) scored a team high eight points and
pulled down seven rebounds. She was named to the All-Tournament team.
Mansfield
falls to 0-3 with all three games played against Top Ten competition.
