FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mansfield women fall at UDC 92-49

WASHINGTON, DC – Nicole Pender scored a career-high 14 points including a perfect 10-10 from the free throw line but Mansfield could never get untracked offensively in dropping a 92-49 decision in a non-conference game at the University of the District of Columbia Saturday afternoon.

Mansfield shot just 24% from the floor for the game and trailed 43-24 at halftime in falling to 3-5 on the season. The Mountaineers hit just 2-18 (11.1%) of their 3-point attempts.

LaQuanda Brandon topped five UDC (9-2) players in double figures with 14 points while Stacy Griffith recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Mansfield is off for the holidays until Jan. 3 when they travel to Edinboro.
