EAST STROUDSBURG – Alicia Espigh and Kelli Eastman combined for 29 of Mansfield’s 44 points in a 64-44 loss at East Stroudsburg in a PSAC East contest Wednesday night.

Mansfield (6-20,1-10) continued its recent first half struggles falling behind 32-19 at halftime while hitting on just 26% from the floor.

East Stroudsburg increased its lead to 41-26 three minutes into the second half before Mansfield went on a 9-0 run to cut the lead to 41-35 on a layup by Jeannette Meacham at the 14:39. But Mansfield was held without a field goal for the next 11 minutes until Eastman buried a 3-pointer with 3:13 to play.

Espigh scored 15 points while Eastman came off the bench to score a career-high 14 points and pulled down eight rebounds.

Jackie Yandrisevits led East Stroudsburg (11-14, 5-6) with a game-high 21 points.

Mansfield wraps up the 2007-08 by hosting Bloomsburg this Saturday afternoon starting at 1 p.m. in Decker Gymnasium.
