FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mountie Women Open 2006-07 Season at Alderson-Broaddus College Saturday Afternoon

MANSFIELD – The Mansfield University Women’s basketball team will open its 2006-07 season tomorrow afternoon when they travel to Alderson-Broaddus College to face the Battlers in a 1 p.m. tip-off.

Head coach Ruth Hermansen will field a young, but experienced team, as the Mountaineers begin the campaign for a fifth straight PSAC playoff appearance.

Mansfield returns home to host the Highlanders of Houghton College this Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Decker Gymnasium.
