FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Women’s Basketball Offers Free Admission In Exchange for Food Items for Two Thanksgiving Week Games

MANSFIELD – The Mansfield University women’s basketball team will join in the spirit of Thanksgiving this week by offering free admission to Tuesday’s and Saturday’s home games in exchange for two food items to be donated to the Mansfield Area Food Bank.

Any food item will be accepted with the Food Bank in need of canned soups, tuna, peanut butter, jelly and other none perishable items.

Gate receipts and program sales for both games will also be donated to the Food Bank.

Mansfield (1-0) host Houghton College Tuesday at 7 p.m. and Messiah College Saturday at 2 p.m.
