FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MOUNTIES ALICIA ESPIGH NAMED PSAC EAST ROOKIE OF THE WEEK FOR SECOND WEEK IN A ROW

MANSFIELD – Alicia Espigh (Lewistown/Lewistown) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division Rookie of the Week for her outstanding play during the week ending 1/23/05.

It marks the second week in row and the third time this season Espigh has won the honor and the third time this season.

Espigh averaged 13.0 points and 4.5 rebounds over the two game span hitting 61.5% (8-13) of her 3-point attempts. She tied her season high with 18 points against West Chester.

For the season, Espigh is averaging 9.3 points per game and tops the PSAC in 3-point field goal accuracy (25-54, 46.3%).
