FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mansfield University Elite Soccer Academy Summer Day Camp moved back one week

MANSFIELD -- Due to construction at the field and field scheduling, the Mansfield University Elite Soccer Academy Summer Day Camp has had to move the date of the camp originally scheduled from Monday, June 23^rd-Thursday June 26^th to the following week of Monday, June 30^th – Thursday, July 3^rd.

“We’ve had a strong response on camp and hopefully it wouldn’t be too much of an inconvenience for those campers who have already registered,” said Camp Director Tim Dempsey.

“On the other hand it gives everyone, especially in New York State, an extra week to sign up and the construction will be completely finished by then.”

Camp is open to all boys and girls ages 5-13. The Mountie Kickers’s Day Camp is designed for ages 5-7 and cost $65 with sessions running from 9-11 a.m.

Campers ages 8-13 attending sessions from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. with lunch and a pool session included. Cost for 8-13 yr olds is $120.

Both groups’ sessions will now run from Monday, June 30^th – Thursday, July 3^rd.

The sessions will be under the direction of Mansfield University head soccer coach Tim Dempsey, his staff and the Mountaineer women’s soccer team.
