FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mansfield athletics teams up with First Citizens National Bank to raise $412 for PASSHE Haitian Relief Fund

MANSFIELD – Mansfield University athletics teamed up with First Citizens National Bank to raise $412 for the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) Haitian Relief Fund during Mansfield’s home basketball doubleheader with Shippensburg last Saturday.

First Citizens National Bank served as the official sponsor of the day distributing free tickets to the doubleheader at six area locations and donated a $100 savings bond as a raffle prize. Game programs sales were also donated by Mansfield athletics.

Fans contributed by participating in a halftime layup contest at both games with $1 donated for every layup made. In addition fans donated funds at an information table in the main lobby.

The $412.00 raised will be donated to the PASSHE Haitian Relief fund along with funds raised at the other 13 PASSHE schools.
