FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mountie Men and Women Host Annual Media Day -- Both Teams Open on the Road Saturday

MANSFIELD -- The Mansfield University men's and women's basketball teams hosted their annual Media Day Tuesday afternoon at Walker's Sports Grill in downtown Mansfield.

Area media interview coaches and players as both programs begin final preparations to open the 2006-07 season on the road this Saturday.

Both programs are coming off PSAC playoff seasons last year and both expect to be in the hunt for postseason berths again in 2006-07.

The men travel to Syracuse in a 3 p.m. tip-off at Lemoyne College while the women travel to West Virginia to take on Alderson-Broaddus College at 1 p.m.
