FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MANSFIELD SWIMMING FALLS TO LOCK HAVEN 145-98
Mansfield- The Mansfield University swim team dropped a duel meet to Lock Haven
University this afternoon at the pool at Decker Gymnasium 145-98.
Freshman Abbe Tipton (Elmira) had two second place finishes in the
100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:07.04 and also finished second in the
200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:27.11.
Mansfield had a strong performance from freshman Daniella Borrelli
(Vestal) who had three-second place finishes. Borrelli finished second
in the 100-yard butterfly (1:06.41), the 200-yard IM (2:32.24) and the 200-yard
butterfly (2:36.98).
The Mountaineers next home meet is noon Nov. 16 at the pool at Decker Gymnasium
as the Mansfield plays host to King’s College.
