FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Swimmer fall to East Stroudsburg 126-74 on Senior Day

MANSFIELD – Tricia Learn won the 1000 freestyle and the 200 back and Maureen Maikner won the 100 breaststroke in her final race at Decker Pool on Senior Day but it wouldn’t be enough as Mansfield fell to East Stroudsburg 126-74 Saturday afternoon in Decker Pool.

Learn won the 1000 free with a time of 11:45.60 and also won the 200 back with a time of 2:17.68.

Maikner, the Mountaineers only senior, won her final race at Decker Pool by finishing first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:13.33. She also was second in the 200 IM (2:21.85).

Megan Smickley was second in the 200 free (2:15.94) and Katie Stillittano was second in the 500 free (5:56.05).

Mary Tucker took third in the 1000 free (12:20.65) while Smickley was third in the 100 fly. Sarah Koontz was third in the 100 free (1:02.58) and Tucker was third in the 500 free (5:59.52).

Mansfield travels to Pitt-Bradford for tri-meet including Wells College next Saturday.
