FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MANSFIELD UNIVERSITY POSTS FOUR FIRST PLACE FINISHES AT THE EAST STROUDSBURG INVITATIONAL

EAST STROUDSBURG- The Mansfield University swim team had an exceptional showing at the East Stroudsburg University Invitational Saturday afternoon. 

The 200 yard relay team of Abbe Tipton, Stephanie Klegarth, Daniella Borrelli, and Andrea Popovic took first place with a time of 1:58.85. 

The other first place finishers for the Mountaineers were: Kristine VanDuzer in the 1,000 yard freestyle (12:13.83), Popovic in the 500 yard freestyle (5:37.52), and Tipton in the 200 yard IM (2:22.65).

Maureen Maikner had two second place finishes in the 200 yard butterfly (2:31.23) and in the 100 yard butterfly (1:05.57).  Vanessa McElwee was the other second place finisher for the Mounties in the 100 yard backstroke (1:04.53).
