FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MANSFIELD FINISHES 6TH IN IUP INVITATIONAL-- ABBE TIPTON FINISHES 5TH IN WOMEN'S 200 YARD BACKSTROKE

INDIANA, PA – Mansfield University finished up the three day event at the IUP Invitational placing 6th overall out of the seven teams.  Mansfield accumulated 242 team points, IUP won the event with 727 teams points.

Abbe Tipton earned Mansfield points today when she placed 5th in the 200 yard Back Stroke (2:20.38). Andrea Popovic also picked up some points for the Mountaineers placing 7th in the 1650 yard free style (10:50.50).

The 400 free relay team of Popovic, Tipton, Daniella Borrelli and Stephanie Klegarth was sixth with a time of 3:58.58.
