FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mansfield sprint football eight-page feature in NCAA Champion Magazine

MANSFIELD – Mansfield University sprint football is an eight-page feature story is the latest edition of NCAA Champion Magazine.

The story, written by Gary Brown, also includes 22 photos as if chronicles the return of football to Mansfield and the atmosphere at the Mountaineers 2009 season opening win over Princeton at Karl Van Norman Field.

It marks the second year Mansfield University’s sprint football program has been featured in a national publication. Last year Mansfield’s first-ever sprint football team was a front-page feature story in the Wall Street Journal.

NCAA Champion Magazine is the premier publication of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and is published four times during the course of the year and is distributed nationally.
