FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: JACLYN LASKOWSKI NAMED PSAC EAST PLAYER OF THE WEEK – MID VALLEY GRAD HITS THREE HOME RUNS DURING WEEK

  MANSFIELD – Mansfield University sophomore Jacklyn Laskowski (Olyphant/ Mid Valley) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Player of the Week for her outstanding performance during the week ending 4/13/03.

  A first baseman, Laskowski helped the Mountaineers win three of four games during that span by hitting .583 and driving in eight runs. In 12 at-bats during the week, Laskowski rapped out seven hits including a double and eight RBI for a 1.417 slugging percentage.

  She drove in the game winning run with a two-out double in the seventh inning I a win over East Stroudsburg and had two home runs and five RBI’s in a victory over Millersville.

  For the season, Laskowski is batting .349 with 15 hits in 43 at-bats including three doubles, a triple and three home runs. She has driven in 17 runs while scoring seven times.
