MANSFIELD – Mansfield struggled to find its offense in dropping a PSAC East doubleheader to Bloomsburg Tuesday afternoon at Helen Lutes Field. Mansfield lost the opener 8-0 and the nightcap 9-1.

Senior Jess Christ had three of Mansfield’s five hits in the opener and Whitney Brown struck out six in six innings but Mansfield couldn’t score off Amber Lynn who improved to 18-3.

In the nightcap Jen Stein drove in Mansfield’s lone run with a single in the bottom of the fourth.

Mansfield travels to East Stroudsburg on Friday before ending the season at home against Shippensburg on Saturday.
