For Immediate Release- Jess Christ named All-PSAC East

Mansfield- Senior second baseman Jess Christ was named to the All-PSAC second team at second baseman.

The senior led the Mountaineers in hitting this season and was third in the PSAC with a .400 batting average.  Christ led the Mountaineers in hits with 36, doubles with seven and tied for the team lead in RBIs with 14.  Her .400 average is the ninth best average in school history.

Christ will leave Mansfield as the record holder in career doubles with 30 and second in career batting average at .375.  She also ranks among the top of the leader board in several single season records including at-bats, doubles and RBIs for the 2006 season.
