RELEASE DATE: 4/29/06 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mountie Softball Ends Season with Two Losses at Kutztown – Seitz Hits Home Run
In the opener, Kutztown got five runs in the first two innings before the Mountaineer could get on the board. Sytiva Seitz hit a solo home run in the seventh inning and had two hits in the game along with Shana Markwis. Mansfield led the nighcap 2-1 before Kutztown scored eight runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Jess Christ drove in both Mansfield runs. The Mountaineers end the season with a 21-22 overall mark and 7-17 in PSAC East play.

of games 8-4, 10-2 at Kutztown’s North Campus Field Saturday afternoon.
