Pearson combined for 50 points to lead Mansfield “That put us right back

defense took over holding Cheyney to just two points over the final Longpre’ scored a game high 27 points with six rebounds while Pearson just missed his 15th double-double of the season with 23 points and nine rebounds. Ian Connor and Bill McNeil each scored 10 points. Longpre’ became just the second player in school history to surpass the 1,700 milestone. He now has 1,706 and trail Tommy Harvey (1,778) as the school’s all-time leading scorer. honored in pregame ceremonies. Bruce Hall came off the
bench to lead Cheyney with 17 points. The Mountaineers will host
